We got engaged!!!

So I came home from Iowa and skip ahead a couple of months and......... Brandon and I got engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's the story. So.... We went and watched the sunset and then got ice cream and then he took me out to West Corrine, (farm country) where my younger brother was.  They sent me to go look at a puppy while they 'discussed things' then they sent me to look for a duck. Well Brandon and I were standing under this tree looking for a duck when he knelt down and proposed.  When I said yes, Jason and his friends set off fireworks, it was really cool. And my ring is GORGEOUS!!!! So here are some of our engagement pictures :)

One time I went to Iowa

So on with the catching up.  My next adventure was........ going to IOWA! I auditioned for a show called "Come Home to Kanesville" in December, (before my Dad got sick, before I met Brandon).  I made it in as a dancer which I was super excited about.  I was extremely excited to go to Iowa and then in May my life got turned upside down.  My Dad got sick and I started dating Brandon.  I was extremely torn. To go or not to go, that really was the question.  I knew that I would probably regret not going if I didn't, but I didn't want to leave Brandon for a month and I wasn't sure what was going to happen with my Dad. So I prayed and cried and talked to my Mom and my friends and my boyfriend.  I had so many mixed messages I didn't know what to do.  Finally Brandon told me to go.  I knew he didn't really want me to, but he knew that deep down I really did want to. So I went.  July 4 I hopped on a plane and flew to Iowa.

It was an adventure, but so much fun.  I ended up dancing for 8-10 hours, six days a week, I LOVED it! Well until my knee started to hurt again, but that's okay it was worth it.  We had lots of crazy adventures and I met a lot of wonderful people.  I was there until August 2, when I got on a plane and flew home.
So here are some pictures of that adventure.
We lived in these.

IT"S BEEN SO LONG!!!

So.... Life has been absolutely crazy these last couple of months! I'll try to start at the beginning and hopefully add some pictures with it.
First on May 5 the most wonderful person ever held my hand for the first time!! I was so stinking excited!

Then on May 8 I went to an AMAZING 30 Seconds to Mars concert in Salt Lake, it was so good!!
Now for those of you who don't know on May 10 we found out that my Dad had a brain tumor.  They removed it through surgery and then started chemo and radiation. Before the chemo started though, I got to graduate from Western! Yay!!!

In June I got to be the choreographer for Annie Jr. at the college. It was lots of fun, a lot of hard work, and put me closer to that wonderful person I mentioned earlier. I got to live with my awesome 'adopted' second family the Crawfords, it was so much fun!!!! We went on lots of adventures and probably played harder then we worked.
Well it's now time to go home.... I'm on campus because our internet that was supposed to be hooked up today won't be hooked up until next week.... we are not happy with the company. Anyway... next time I'll try to finish catching up :)

FINALS!

Okay, it's not actually finals time yet because I still have three weeks, but I sure am feeling the pressure. I'm feeling super stressed, however I am finding outlets... aka sand volleyball for three hours on Saturday. I got super sunburned and am extremely sore, but oh was it worth it. I played with my roommate Taylor and our friends Keith, Isaac, David, Will, Josh and Dennis. It was so much fun! I miss sports. Don't get me wrong I love what I'm doing, but sometimes a girl needs some sports in her life. Last night we decided that it would be fun to play night time volleyball... at 11:30. It would have been really fun except the wind was blowing cold and the sand was rough and freezing! So we lasted about ten minutes. But it was an adventure... kind of. Mostly that's all... I just wanted to post about something. Here is a picture from Music Man!

The Vortex's.... guests.

So I was going to do a blog about all of my amazing friends.... but... I need at least one more picture before I can properly write a blog... about friends... So I decided to write about my apartment's unwanted and uninvited guests. My apartment is nicknamed the vortex. It's called that for a good reason. People come over randomly all the time and then they never leave, which is fine with us. Another reason is because when people come over they tell us things and know that they can trust us with problems or other secrets. We love that. However, apparently others feel like they can take residence in our apartment. We have three unwanted guests, (we also have a zoo but we love them so it's okay).

First is our monster name Krogstad. He lives in our ceiling fan in the bathroom. When you turn the light on he makes his presence known... and it is loud.

The next guest is Roquefort... he lives in our wall. At first we thought he was a mouse, and he still could be, however I keep seeing these little prairie dog looking things right outside our building and I think that they may be the culprits. The name of this picture is helpless prairie dog... but that's a lie they are not helpless I'm pretty sure they conspire against us.

The third and final is our ghost. The ghost doesn't have a name but he sure does live here. He makes ipods play at random times, strums guitars when no one is near, and causes silverware and cups to fall off the counter and break. He is a trouble maker and wish he would leave. (Yes all of our live-ins are male... don't ask me why because I don't know).
